France Sketchbook: Cote Sauvage Lizards

One of Quiberon’s coasts is a sandy beach, the other is a rocky, cliffy beach. Part of it is called “cote sauvage”. There are great walking and biking trails, peppered with signs that remind everyone not to swim… it’s way too dangerous. It is very beautiful, and protected enough that wildlife and unusual plants abound. We saw a few lizards sprinting across the trail ahead of us.
