France Sketchbook: Museum Rules Collage

My “uncle” Ronnie kept travel journals on all his trips, taking polaroids and ticket stubs and gluing them in with ink drawings and watercolor on top. Inspired by his books he brought back (which were loads cooler than 500 photos un-embellished) I made one for this trip to France. It’s a fantastic project. When traveling, we all notice things in more detail than we would otherwise, time slows down, it’s a great creative boost.
Oh, and there’s a drawn symbol on here of the bathroom man and woman with a line through it… let me just say, if it’s high tourist season and you are a huge art fan, consider fasting or wearing a diaper.
